The Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has been very vocal voicing his concerns over the riots last night in Brixton, he posted on social media that reports of 40 officers being injured have been made apparent to him.
Taking to Twitter Mr Farage wrote: “Serious rioting in Brixton last night, which this morning received hardly any media coverage. It seems that mob rule is being encouraged and not condemned.”
He followed up his first tweet by slamming the media, police bosses and top politicians, he wrote: “Now hearing 40 officers injured. The media, police bosses and top politicians have given encouragement to an anti-police organisation with these appalling results.”
Both of Mr Farage’s tweets have gained huge traction since posting them, many took to the comment section to voice their own concerns.

One Twitter user named Allectus replied to Mr Farage writing: “If the police can’t or won’t prevent civil disorder, it’s time to kit troops out with riot gear. We need to rebuild a force ready, willing & able to fight crime rather than prance around & paint their faces with rainbows.”
Terry Holt asked: “Will the people involved in the rioting last night and over the last few weeks oh yes and tearing down statues lose their jobs? or do you have to fit a certain profile for that to happen.”
Wessex responded agreed with Mr Farage saying: “Wonder if the Met police commissioner is reflecting on the passive approach to the start of this. There are those in society who wish to cause chaos & anarchy who have taken that as weakness…which it was. The police & media’s pc approach has helped unleash this.”
