Increasingly people within the UK are being turned off by the political, media and cultural classes with their attempts to belittle the majority of people who democratically voted to leave the EU.
Last night’s luvvie fest at the BAFTA award’s saw a string of celebrities take the opportunity to pontificate over the decision with jokes that on the whole fell flat with the audience there and at home.
Andy Serkis, who famously played Gollum in The Lord of The Rings was the first to make a dig at Brexit in front of the royal family at the BAFTAs. He stated pompously: “A film without music is like Laurel without Hardy. It’s Queen without Freddie Mercury. It’s Britain without Europe.”

Low grade Sherlock Holmes actor Eddie Marsan also said: “You have to be able to create something that has painstaking historical accuracy… which is particularly difficult in the country that has reinvented its past to justify Brexit.”

This comes as Peoples Vote backer Patrick Stewart caused consternation among many when argued that the voting age in the UK should be lowered to 14! This is despite Stewart being an American citizen who lives in Brooklyn, New York!
