Increasingly on social media people are questioning the news output being delivered by the main terrestrial broadcasters BBC, ITV & Sky. Nowhere more so than with regards to the events taking place in France where even well respected MP Kate Hoey shared a video of Gilets Jaunes marching saying some coverage from the BBC & Sky News would be appreciated.
The main source of anger from people appears to be two fold that the quasi-revolutionary scenes being witnessed across the continent do not fit with the agenda of those wishing the UK to stay in the EU. Their is also the theory that if people in the UK saw what was going on they may be likely to join in. Unconfirmed reports suggest that a ‘D- Notice’ has been issued to the UK media preventing them from reporting fully.
Meanwhile in Spain a massive rally took place in Madrid against the Prime Minister Pedro Sanchex led by the fast growing Vox Party that is explicitly anti-EU, Globalisation and Mass Immigration. The protest was also against any attempts by the Government to weaken the Spanish state.

There was scant coverage of this rally with MSM estimates that 40,000 people turned out whereas the above video tweeted by campaign group UK Unity clearly shows a sizeable crowd in attendance. In usual media parlance the rally was categorised as ‘far-right’. There were also Yellow Vest protests in The Netherlands and mass protests in Serbia against Government Corruption.
