Gary Lineker FURY as he slams TRUMP & Brits over IMMIGRATION!

Lineker is the highest paid BBC presenter and earns £1.75 million per year he is now fully endorsing ‘The People’s Vote’ campaign for a second EU Referendum despite saying that he was previously totally against the idea.

In a series of tweets yesterday he launched into a rant at both the democratically elected President of the USA and the decision of leaving the EU to control immigration which is wished for by the majority of people in the UK.

On Trump Lineker said: “His mind-numbing stupidity would be funny if it wasn’t so damn important.” One Twitter user replied with what many are thinking saying: “guess that being a retired football player makes you an expert in climate change.”

Likewise in an article that someone wrote saying leaving the EU under Theresa May’s plans would see the UK control immigration (debatable) he stated that the UK receives huge economic benefit from uncontrolled immigration and implied that wanting to control this was ‘xenophobia’.

In response a tweet that has been liked and shared hundreds of times said:  “Gary get out of your gated community and go back to Leicester or visit many other midland or northern towns and see what’s happening in the real world, what the test of us have to put up with on a daily basis.”

Meanwhile Iain Duncan Smith is among a slew of top politicians who have launched a significant attack on Gary Lineker and his taxpayer funded job at the BBC. He said:

There should be a second referendum on whether he should still be in his job after abusing his position and using his highly-paid role as a platform to spout on about a variety of issues when he’s employed as a football commentator and the BBC is supposed to be impartial.”

John Longworth, chairman of the Leave Means Leave campaign group has also said: “The Charter of the BBC insists that it should be politically neutral. For one of its key and highest-paid presenters to decide to lead a prominent political campaign to reverse the democratic will of the people must surely put Lineker at odds with this.”

Jacob Rees Mogg has also slaughtered the unelected Lineker by saying:

“Perhaps he’d like to set up a new party? If he stands for Parliament he can put his views directly to the electorate!”

The BBC have been forced to intervene due to the massive furore surrounding Lineker. Unfortunately they have taken his side by saying: “Gary is not involved in any news or political output for the BBC and as such any expression of his personal political views does not affect the BBC’s impartiality.”

Political commentators have suggested however that if he keeps up with his outspoken views the BBC will be forced to act but this remains to be seen.
