For those of us following closely the UN/World Economic Forum’s Great Reset/Agenda 2030 Plan (on steroids following the “Covid Plandemic”) the Petition calling upon the Government to “make it unlawful for shops to refuse cash payments” is of paramount importance.
What is the Great Reset/Agenda 2030 some of you may ask, Klaus Schwab Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum published a book about it in July 2020, a mere 3 months after the “Plandemic” hit.
“Agenda 2030 is an inventory and control plan of ALL land, water, minerals, plants, animals, construction all means of production, food, energy, information and all human beings in the world, this plan was implemented by the United Nations and signed by 179 nations in 1992, hailed as the Agenda for the 21st Century. “

Unfortunately, this petition has not reached the 100k signatures required for the Petitions Committee to put forward for Parliamentary debate, but has exceeded the 10,000 required for a response. I set out the main points with a link for those who wish to read the full response.

The government does not plan to mandate cash acceptance. Businesses are able to choose the forms of payment they accept. The government’s proposals for legislation support cash acceptance.
While the government recognises the ability to transact in cash remains important to millions of people across the UK, particularly those in vulnerable groups, it remains the choice of individual businesses as to whether to accept or decline any form of payment, including cash or card. This may be based on factors such as customer preference and cost.
The government wants to ensure that people, including those with characteristics of vulnerability, have appropriate access to banking services, which includes payment services. The government works closely together with regulators and stakeholders from the public, private and third sectors.
The government engages closely with financial regulators, including through the Treasury-chaired Joint Authorities Cash Strategy Group, to monitor and assess trends relating to cash. In addition, all service providers are bound under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments, where necessary, in the way they deliver their services.
At Budget in March 2020 the government committed to legislate to protect access to cash in the UK. Following this, the government brought forward a consultation on Access to Cash in July 2021.
Following the government’s commitment to legislate, firms are working together through the Cash Action Group to develop new initiatives to provide shared services. This includes bank hubs.
During the pilots, £4.65 million of cash was deposited in two locations, and 92% of the businesses who used the hubs reported that they were more likely to keep accepting cash because of the pilots. Building on the experience of the pilots, industry has committed to extending the opening of these bank hubs until April 2023.
Analysis
So there you have it the usual Government sleight of hand, passing the buck to private partnerships, anything politically damaging or unpalatable to the citizens can be brought in via the back door, allowing politicians a “get out of jail free card”.
Agenda 2030 is all about public/private partnerships and to my mind public-private partnerships are a way to mask ever-intrusive government (fascism).
