Firstly can we just say a huge thank you to everyone that has replied to our email blasts and on our streams, it has been very beneficial. We are sorry if we have been unable to reply as we have had tens of thousands of messages!
UNN is a unique news organisation in that we are entirely funded and supported by the British & Global Public, we don’t have any large donors or take any EU or Trade Union funding. Like most of our supporters we believed that the only way to exit the EU is on a full and clean WTO Brexit. Boris Johnson said do or die he would take us out of the EU on the 31st of October and the fact remains that he failed at this task.
The Withdrawal Treaty proposed by Boris Johnson and his Government is not a good one for a number of reasons. It is a Treaty previously offered by the EU and one that is a betrayal of our Fishermen, isolates Northern Ireland and leaves us at the whim of the EU. It is also one that will cost the UK £39 billion with many potential uncosted liabilities. On the other hand for many it is a deal that can potentially finally see the UK exit the EU out of both the Single Market and also The Customs Union and can put an end to the uncertainty.
When Boris presented this Treaty the Tory Press immediately flung in behind it and many leavers were hoodwinked by this. Any deal that is good for Merkel & the EU and makes them smile is not a good deal for the UK. People didn’t vote to leave the EU for the sake of it, they voted to leave the EU to reclaim their sovereignty, secure our borders and make Britain great again!
Many people have been in touch to say that they fear a split of the vote between The Brexit Party & The Conservatives may lead to a Jeremy Corbyn Government with a remainer coalition and we fully understand these fears. As a news organisation we will not be supporting any particular Party at all, financially for us it would be far better to do so but we will not have our integrity compromised.
We encourage all voters to make up their own minds about how best to vote locally in order to ensure that a leave voting Member of Parliament is elected for your area. We remain deeply sceptical of the UK establishment and the political class as things stand. They have shown with Brexit that they are wholly unreliable in doing anything that is remotely difficult. Westminster truly is a swamp that needs drained and whilst this election will not cleanse it entirely it may bring a fresh start. We remain hopeful The Brexit Party will work with solid leavers from all political parties to ensure a Brexit backing Government is elected.

Be aware of the mainstream media bias and hysteria and don’t fall into the trap, unlike them UNN will only be listening to and answerable to you with real and honest coverage.
