Popular pro-Brexit Labour MP for Vauxhall Kate Hoey has recently been speaking out over the lack of coverage of the Gilets Jaunes demonstrations in France by Sky News and BBC News.
Yesterday she also took a swipe at the BBC over their Brexit coverage by saying “Why does the BBC News always put the most negative slant when reporting on Brexit. It is almost as if certain of their journalists really want us to remain- surely not!!!” Her tweet was liked and shared many thousands of times.
This however was met with a furious response from controversial Sky Host Kay Burley who stated that Hoey should know better and these comments can lead to ASSAULTS on journalists!
As you can see above Ms Burley was then ‘ratioed’ which is where the comments far outweigh the likes and retweets showing peoples discontent with her comments.
Burley then doubled down on her remarks by tweeting again about questioning a journalist leading to violence:

Burley appears to have an extremely thin skin when it comes to criticism of her journalistic integrity and has been involved in a number of notable incidents such as when she grabbed a woman’s throat and also indicated that looking at Falkland’s war hero Simon Weston’s face could be offensive to some people.
