A teenage boy has been left fighting for his life and another had been injured in a sickening double stabbing attack in south-east London.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene of the incident at Woodpecker Road in New Cross to reports of an assault at around 17:30 Monday evening.
Two teenagers both males were found suffering from stab wounds and were subsequently rushed to hospital, the first victim aged 15 was in a critical condition and the second teenaged aged 18 was suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
A crime scene was in place around the street, no arrests have yet been made and police are continuing enquiries.
“Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended,” a spokesman for the force said.
“A crime scene remains in place.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson had vowed to put 20,000 more police officers on the streets in an attempt to bring down crime rates and deter criminals. As one of Mr Johnson’s key commitments he made in the Conservative leadership election, Mr Johnson pledged 20,000 new police officers recruited within three years.
He said: “As I said on the steps of Downing Street this week, my job as Prime Minister is to make our streets safer.
“People want to see more officers in their neighbourhoods, protecting the public and cutting crime.
“I promised 20,000 extra officers and that recruitment will now start in earnest.”
