A man has been charged by the West Midlands Police following a sicking number of attacks and robberies on pensioners in Birmingham.
A 78-year-old woman suffered a broken hip after it is alleged that Thomas Cahill broke into her home and stole cash and bank cards.
Just two days later another 78-year-old woman suffered a broken hip after being dragged to the ground during a violent assault and robbery that seen the assailant(s) snatch the woman’s bag in the street.
Thomas Cahill has been charged with two counts of robbery, one attempted burglary, burglary, three counts of theft from cars and three counts of theft.
The 41-year-old of no fixed address is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (24 August).
