Multiculturalism has failed – these are the words of Majid Nawaaz a Pakistani Muslim Radio Presenter on LBC – he is not alone in his contention he is joined by people such as Angela Merkel and David Cameron.
David Cameron – 2011
David Cameron criticised “state Multiculturalism” in his first speech as Prime Minister on radicalisation and the causes of terrorism.
At a Security Conference in Munich, he argued that the UK needed a stronger national identity to prevent people turning to all kinds of extremism.
He also signalled a tougher stance on groups promoting Islamist extremism, his vision was there would be greater scrutiny of some Muslim groups which get public money but do little to tackle extremism.
Ministers should refuse to share platforms or engage with such groups, which should be denied access to public funds and barred from spreading their message in universities and prisons.
Angela Merkel -2010
Back in 2010 Angela Merkel stated attempts to build a multicultural society in Germany had utterly failed.
She said the so called “multikulti” concept – where people would live side-by-side happily – did not work, and immigrants needed to do more to integrate – including learning German.
Her comments came amid rising anti-immigration feeling in Germany.
A survey in 2010 suggested more than 30% of people believe the country was “overrun by foreigners”.
The study – conducted by a German think-tank also showed that roughly the same number thought that some 16 million of Germany’s immigrants or people with foreign origins had come to the country for its social benefits.
(This statement was pre Angela Merkel’s welcome mat moment when she threw Germany’s doors wide open to a million migrants from third world countries) I wonder what percentage has been reached now)?

Majid Nawaaz – 2016
Majid began by stating “if we genuinely do not want to reside in a post truth/post fact society we should hear the facts before we decide whether multiculturalism has succeeded or not.”
Before laying out the facts he prologued by stating:-
“the first victims of the failure to integrate in this society are the very minority communities that those on the liberal left claim they want to support, their refusal to challenge some behaviour and some practices that go on within my community (Pakistani Muslim) has ended up creating through the lack of integration a lack of social mobility a lack of success within the very communities that they claim they wanted to help”.
Out of those minority communities Muslims are the ones suffering the most from the Government’s Policy of Multiculturalism.
The British Muslims are performing the worst that is the reality.
Let’s start with Prison – Prison is a major indicator of social failure – 5% of this country are Muslim – 14.4% of the prison population are Muslim that is a major major failure.
The Prison population rose by 20%, over the last decade, but the rise in Muslim Prisoners rose by 122% and it is the same all over Europe – there is a major problem and only a post truth/post fact liberal or lefty will ignore or pretend there isn’t a problem. That cannot be defined as a success by any measure.
Moving to employment British Muslims are unemployed at over double the rate of the general population, the general population rate is 5.5% the British Muslims unemployment rate is 12.8%. That cannot be defined as a success by any measure.
Moving to gender equality out of the 12.8% of unemployed Muslims, 65% of those are Muslim women.
So not only are Muslims disproportionately unemployed in this country but 65% of those are British Muslim women and that is not by the way because employers wouldn’t employ them – because the same survey asked employers how many would be willing to employ British Muslim women and 75% said they would.
35% of all muslim women from 16-64 are unemployed in this country – that cannot be defined as success by any measure.
Education lowest performing 24% of British muslims reach a qualification of 4 or above that is a lot lower than other minority groups.
A 2016 ICM Poll found that 52% of British Muslims would ban Homosexuality if they had a choice.
A 2007 poll found that 36% of British Muslims said Apostates deserved to be killed.
A 2008 YouGov poll surveying British Muslim students found that 33% supported a Caliphate.
In 2015 a COMRES poll after the Charlie Hebdo attacks found that a quarter of British Muslims expressed sympathy for the brutal murders of Journalists over a cartoon of Mohammed in the magazine.

Despite all of these warnings nothing has changed in fact it has worsened in recent years.
The commentariat, political pundits, the liberal left and social media platforms rather than face up to the issues being reported, instead choose to attack – and in the case of social media remove from their platforms those expressing legitimate concerns.
If political correctness and cancel culture are not dealt with immediately civilised society will break down.
Will the Government deal with the tough “culturally sensitive” issues, do their job effectively and keep their citizens safe – we can only hope!
