There is a “ground-breaking update” on the situation in Myanmar.
When I first read this story something told me there was more to this than met the eye which led me to write my first piece – “Myanmar – the Face of Democracy 2021”. https://unitynewsnetwork.co.uk/myanmar-the-face-of-democracy-2021/

The two things which grabbed my attention were – the military’s allegations of wide-spread voter fraud (mirroring that in the US) and secondly, a Central Bank Chief was removed alarming “Global Financiers”.
Well the story has moved on apace, George Soros’ Open Society Foundation bank accounts have been seized.

The Myanmar military government has seized several bank accounts belonging to and affiliated with George Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF), and has announced arrest warrants for 11 members of the organisation “on suspicion of directing funds to Civil Disobedience Movements against the military junta.”
The government will also take legal action against the Open Society Foundations, which they allege violated “restrictions on the activities of such organisations” and did not receive approval from Myanmar’s authorities for the deposit of $5 million into their Myanmar bank accounts. It is also alleged to have illegally withdrawn $1.4 million from its bank accounts.
Open Society has apparently helped to fund Myanmar media outlets and civil society groups for years (so many fingers in so many pies – with civil unrest never far away).
On the OSF’s website, It says the Myanmar foundation supports “civil society and groups representing marginalised people to encourage a representative democracy to take root”.
But whose interest does the Soros funded “democracy” really represent?

Myanmar are not the first nation to question the intentions of George Soros’ “philanthropic ventures”.
Soros admitted in an interview with National Public Radio that his Open Society programme of unfettered globalisation and open borders is under tremendous threat.

Hungary
In December 2018, following Orbán’s landslide 3rd win in the Parliamentary elections Soros’ Open Society Foundation (OSF) announced it was impossible to work in what he called the “repressive atmosphere of Hungary” and that he would be moving the operation to Berlin.

Victor Orban also oversaw the expulsion of Soros’ Central European University from Budapest, the Hungarian Government refused to grant accreditation to the University which forced them to close their doors and leave.
Macedonia
A week after Hungary announced plans to purge all NGO groups funded by globalist mega-donor George Soros, a new global initiative – Stop Operation Soros (SOS) – dedicated to countering the influential political/social engineering the billionaire activist is now engaged in across the globe through his Open Society Foundations, was announced in Macedonia.

Nikola Srbov, co-founder of SOS, stated Soros-funded NGOs have monopolised “civil society in Macedonia” and used their position to suppress dissenting views.
Turkey
OSF similarly shut down its operations in Turkey in 2018. Reuters reported that the organisation said it was not possible to work in the country anymore after OSF became the target of “baseless claims” in the media and an investigation by the Turkish government into mass protests.
Pakistan
The government of Pakistan called for OSF, along with several other foreign-funded aid groups, to cease operations within the country in 2017.
Poland
Lyudmyla Kozlovska, President of the Open Dialog Foundation (ODF) was deported from the EU territory to Kyiv, Ukraine due to an abuse of the Schengen Information System (SIS). According to the Belgian Border Police, the deportation was enforced after a confirmation from the side of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland.
This was mainly due to the civic activity of her husband, Bartosz Kramek, Head of the Foundation’s Board, who had been calling for various civil disobedience actions in Poland.

Russia

Analysis
It would appear that countries with leaders wishing to preserve their traditional values/ heritage and border security are rejecting and ejecting the threat they believe the Soros Foundation poses to their homelands.
Is this what is happening in Myanmar? The global media are reporting this as a military coup against “democracy”, but is it?
- Could the allegations of widescale voter fraud be true as the military junta are alleging and therefore are actually trying to restore voter integrity and preserve democracy?
- Could the purported “people’s uprising” be yet another Soros’ funded Civil Disobedience Campaign seeking to reassert “globalist” authority over Myanmar?
I do not know the answer to these questions, but it is not beyond the realms of possibility given Soros’ vast global influence and widescale political meddling is it?

I wrote my first article for Unity News Network on 30th December 2019, and I have been writing ever since – my library is now well in excess of 200 articles.
Alternative media is essential in these times of unprecedented censorship and mainstream bias, which has ramped up exponentially during the past 2 years. The overton window of “acceptable opinion” is growing every narrower.
Having a citizen’s log, cataloguing the twists and turns of life during these turbulent times is essential.
Thank you Unity News Network for allowing me a voice on your platform.
