A quick recap 178 employees at Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas were suspended without pay for refusing the covid-19 injection. 117 subsequently entered into a lawsuit, stating that requiring an employee to subject themselves to medical experimentation as a prerequisite to feeding their families, was “likening them to guinea pigs”.
Well just over a week later on 14th June 2021 it appears the Federal judge has dismissed the lawsuit.
In a 5 page opinion (which reads more like a lecture than a judicial document) District judge Lynn N. Hughes stated claims that the vaccines are dangerous are “false, and it is also irrelevant.” Hughes noted that Texas law “only protects employees from being terminated for refusing to commit an act carrying criminal penalties to the worker,” and that receiving a COVID-19 vaccine “is not an illegal act.”
Hughes, a Reagan appointee, also rejected several claims from the plaintiffs under federal law, including an assertion that the employees are being forced to participate in a human trial for the vaccines since the shots are only being allowed under an emergency use authorisation. The hospital, the judge wrote, isn’t participating in a human trial for the vaccines.
Hughes also wrote in his ruling that the hospital’s requirement does not violate federal law or public policy, and took issue with the lawsuit comparing the requirement to get vaccinated with Nazi medical experiments during the Holocaust.
“Equating the injection requirement to medical experimentation in concentration camps is reprehensible,” Hughes wrote. “Nazi doctors conducted medical experiments on victims that caused pain, mutilation, permanent disability, and in many cases, death.”
In response to the ruling, the Plaintiffs attorney Jared Woodfill said, “We took the position that it shouldn’t be dismissed for a whole host of reasons and we believe that forcing an individual to participate in a vaccine trial is illegal.”
“This is the first battle in a long fight”. “There are going to be many battles fought. Not just in this courtroom, but in courtrooms all across the state. There are battles that are going to be fought in the higher courts, the 5th Circuit, the Texas Supreme Court, even the United States Supreme Court. Who is Judge Lynn Hughes and What is His Track Record?
Lynn Nettleton Hughes (born September 9, 1941) is a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Hughes is notorious for being one of the most reversed judges in America.
The Houston judge has the second-lowest affirmance rate in his district among judges who have had at least 100 decisions reviewed by the 5th Circuit,” Reuters reported after Hughes was pulled off of a discrimination case.
“U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes of Houston has been rebuked, reversed and removed from cases in appellate rulings multiple times for making intemperate comments on the bench and issuing rulings with legal errors.”
Analysis
In my previous article I ended with … “Any Judge acting with integrity and within the rule of law will find in favour of the Plaintiffs in this case based upon these facts.”
Reading through the Judge’s ruling and looking at his history, this reinforces my earlier statement.
Forced COVID injections removed from Government, outsourced to private corporations and public institutions in my books equates to corporate medical fascism.
Time will tell if this case will be 1 more “reversal” added to District Judge Lynn Hughes’ list.
We can only hope that the rule of law put in place to protect our rights and freedoms prevails.
