Pfizer is demanding countries put up sovereign assets, including bank reserves, military bases and embassy buildings as collateral for expected vaccine injury lawsuits resulting from its experimental COVID-19 inoculation.
The organisation has vaccine deals with 9 Latin American and Caribbean countries – Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Yurug-waae.
Two major Latin American nations are missing from this list are Argentina and Brazil.
WION reports that Argentina and Brazil have rejected Pfizer’s demands.

In the US, the PREP Act (Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act) gives total immunity to companies like Pfizer and Moderna. If you are injured, you have to file a compensation claim with the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), which is funded by US Taxpayers.
However, a significant problem with the CICP is that it is administered within the Department of Health & Human Services, which is also sponsoring the COVID-19 vaccination program. This conflict of interest makes the CICP less likely to admit fault with the vaccine and the maximum pay out is $250,000 even in cases of permanent disability or death and you first have to exhaust your private insurance policy before the CICP kicks in.
Argentina
Talks between Argentina and Pfizer began in June 2020. Pfizer asked to be compensated for the cost of any future civil lawsuits.
In October 2020, Argentina’s Parliament passed a new law, but Pfizer was unhappy with its phrasing. The law said Pfizer needs to at least pay for negligence, for its own mistakes if it happens to make any in the future.
Pfizer rejected this, after which Argentina offered to amend the law to define negligence more clearly – to include only vaccine distribution and delivery under negligence.
Pfizer was still not happy and demanded the law be amended through a new decree, which Argentina refused. Pfizer then asked Argentina to buy an international insurance to pay for potential future cases against Pfizer, to which the country agreed.
But in December 2020, Pfizer came back with more demands, and demanded sovereign
assets as collateral. Pfizer wanted Argentina to put its bank reserves, military bases and embassy buildings at stake.
What happened in Brazil?
Here is a list of Pfizer’s demands:-
- Waive sovereignty of its assets abroad in favour of Pfizer
- Not apply its domestic laws to the company
- Not penalize Pfizer for vaccine delivery delays
- Exempt Pfizer from all civil liability for side effects
Brazil rejected Pfizer’s demands, calling them “abusive.” As noted by WION, Pfizer developed its vaccine with the help of government funding, and now it — a private company — is demanding governments hand over sovereign assets to ensure the company won’t lose a dime if its product injures people, even if those injuries are the result of negligent company practices, fraud or malice.
According to legal experts, Pfizer is abusing its power.
Protection against liability shouldn’t be used as “the sword of Damocles hanging over the heads of desperate countries with a desperate population,” he added.
Pfizer is in talks with 100 countries and organisations. On 22 January, Pfizer signed an agreement with Covax and committed 40m doses to poor countries.
What is Covax?
COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access, abbreviated as COVAX, is a global initiative aimed at equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines led by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance (formerly the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, or GAVI), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), and others.
It is an initiative begun in April 2020 by the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Commission, and the government of France as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
By 15 July 2020, 165 countries – representing 60% of the human population – had joined COVAX.

Pfizer is looking at making $15b from vaccine sales this year.
Analysis
So correct me if I am wrong but it appears “prime facie” – that 165 countries donating millions towards distributing big Pharma’s “wares” across the globe – effectively increasing “market share and profitability” – is not sufficient recompense.
Prizer not content with that go on to bully nations into putting up sovereign assets as collateral to protect their organisation from vaccine injury lawsuits pertaining from their experimental (unlicensed) rushed to market product.
Surely I have misunderstood how this works, haven’t I? Could this not be deemed a form of extortion?
At this juncture, it may be worth reflecting on a few points to bring this “pandemic” into clearer perspective.
The previous “Swine Flu Pandemic” in 2009 is now classified by the WHO as a regular human flu virus circulating seasonally.
