So Piers Morgan has hit the headlines regarding claims he ‘bullied’ members of his production team throughout his career. Taking to Twitter to post to his 7 million followers after an anonymous letter was reportedly signed by a large number of TV freelancers and executives. https://unitynewsnetwork.co.uk/piers-morgan-responds-to-bullying-accusations-by-saying-he-is-the-victim/
But as far as I can tell he has not responded to another “open letter” sent to him/Good Morning Britain/ITV and OFCOM – in fact, there seems to be a deathly silence from all of the named recipients unless I have missed it of course.
The Tweet at the centre of the complaint went as follows:-

“Mr Morgan appears not to fully appreciate that many individuals have valid reasons for not being able to have, or indeed wanting to have, the vaccine. This does not make one an “anti-vaxxer”
Individuals may be unable to have the vaccine due to “protected characteristics” such as disability, age, sex, race, pregnancy or certain medical conditions falling under the Equality Act 2010.
Furthermore, many individuals choose not to have the vaccine due to legitimate concerns about the ingredients, the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and some may prefer to use other systems of medicine to support their health.”
Analysis
I do not like bullies like Piers Morgan trying to push his opinions/decisions upon others especially when they appear ill-informed and potentially discriminatory.
Where are those army of Fact Checkers when you need them?
