Journalist Lyra McKee was murdered in Londonderry last night by the IRA. This sad tragedy might just draw the attention of the British media back to the fact the gangsters and murderers that shot at British troops in the 1970s are still there with weapons (supposedly put beyond use) doing exactly the same thing as they did in the past..
The Police Service of Northern Ireland will have to deal with these events alone because there is no one in power that would dare send troops back to support the forces of law and order. If they have the resources to waste investigating soldiers from forty-seven years ago, I’m sure they will have the resources to find and arrest the killers in this case.
Now that one of their own has been murdered perhaps the press will tone down their support for the fake history of Sinn Fein/ IRA and take a more objective look at what really happened in the past. If they do it is sad that a successful young woman had to be killed first.
