Last night controversial ‘artist’ Stormzy took to the stage at The Glastonbury Festival. His act has received both praise and criticism in relation to the performance and also the political messages.
He said prior to the event:
“I am first black British artist to headline Glastonbury. At 25 years old I am the second youngest solo act to ever headline Glastonbury, the youngest being a 24 year old David Bowie in 1971. I’m overwhelmed with emotions, this is the most surreal feeling I’ve ever experienced.I feel my entire life has lead to this moment. Can’t explain or fathom what this all is but I am 100% sure this is all God and his favour. Giving him all the glory. “
We can now reveal exclusively that the backstage crew at Glastonbury were both frustrated and disgusted by his behaviour out of the limelight where he said that air conditioning made his green room to cold and it was required to be turned off and a heater brought in.
Stormzy also famously turned down a chance to sing at a Labour Party live show after they failed to pay him the 100k he demanded for the short set. Figures such as David Lammy and Jeremy Corbyn have been effusive in their praise of the star’s performance during which he got the crowd to shout ‘FxxK Boris’ in relation to the Tory leadership candidate.
Our insider said to us:
“Off the Record he (Stormzy) caused us the most problems last night along with his possie. He was demanding heating in his dressing room. It was like an oven in there and didn’t even need any heating. All the other stars were fine but not him.”
Meanwhile the BBC is being slammed for what many are calling ‘outrageously biased’ coverage of Glastonbury as well as the amount of taxpayers money being spent on it. The Hard Left Guardian described his performance as:
