Update: Charlie O’Brien, 12, has very thanfully been found safe and well.
Police have launched an urgent search for a 12-year-old boy who was last seen riding his mountain bike.
Charlie O’Brien was last seen yesterday afternoon in John Lee Park, Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
Police are now appealing for help from the public to find him.
He was reportedly riding his black Carrera mountain bike at around 4.20pm in the park.
Charlie is described as a white male, with brown hair, 4ft 11in tall and of medium build, he was last seen wearing a white Adidas top, white shorts and black Puma pumps.
Greater Manchester Police wrote on its Facebook page: ‘Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Charlie and want to make sure he’s found safe and well.
‘Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Charlie O’Brien should contact police immediately.’
