Manchester Police have released an image of a man they urgently would like to speak with after a woman was sexually assaulted after being forced to go to a pizza shop and a Dixy Chicken takeaway.
The Police said the man who goes by the name of ‘Ali’ approached the victim, who is in her 30s, as she was walking past Crowcroft Park, towards the bus stop on Stockport Road.
He forced the woman to go to an unknown pizza shop, before taking her to Dixy Chicken on Stockport Road.
During the time they were together the man sexually assaulted the woman and kissed her against her wishes.
She managed to flee her captor and th Police have now released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident on August 17. A spokesperson said:
We have now released an image of a man who we think can help with our enquiries.
Do you recognise him or have any information on the incident? If so – get in touch with police.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 4275, quoting incident 2208 of August 17. Reports can also me be made via Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
