The 51st World Economic Forum took place on 25/29th January 2021, but with one major difference. The annual gathering famously held at the Davos Ski Resort in Switzerland this year took place virtually because of the “Coronavirus Pandemic”.
Davos brings together “global elites” including some 3,000 business leaders, international political leaders, representatives from global central banks, economists, celebrities, journalists, NGOs and Civil Societies to discuss global issues across 500 sessions.
The Great Reset
The WEF’s vision of a “Great Reset” is what they say is needed to tackle “global crises” it goes far beyond economic reforms, or climate measures, or tackling a pandemic – it is all of these combined, and much much more. It is the idea that global action needs to be underpinned by a mission to change society. A call to “Build Back Better” is being echoed by leaders across the world.
António Guterres the Secretary-General of the United Nations has been calling for a shift of taxation from payroll to carbon and for a renewed social contract.
Calls for global action have been coming from the United Nations and the Davos summits for decades. The hope this time is the scale of the emergency will finally make radical change unavoidable – a narrow window of opportunity Prince Charles calls it – or as I prefer to call it the problem-reaction-solution strategy.
Klaus Schwab the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, stated “the covid-19 crisis has shown us that our old systems are not fit any more for the 21st century.
But what does that reset look like? Schwab and his WEF army are pushing the concept of “stakeholder” capitalism.
But who are the stakeholders who will benefit from stakeholder capitalism?
Perhaps we should take a look at which stakeholders did very nicely out of the “Covid Pandemic crisis”. Many of those who appear at Davos found it to be a very lucrative “opportunity” whilst society bears a heavy cost.
Stakeholder Capitalism: Yet Another Attempt to Engineer Society?
To attack the ideas of stakeholder capitalism is really to attack the concept of centralised control over society. No business is capable of following the concepts of stakeholder capitalism unless they are sufficiently massive and powerful.
Will the new social contract be based upon a carbon economy rather than a monetary system? Highly possible given the almighty push of those at Davos (headed by Prince Charles and Greta Thunberg) towards the Climate Change/Green New Deal agenda. Or as I prefer to call it a “Pay to Pollute Ponzi Scheme for the wealthy”.
We must not forget the threat made by Mark Carney former Bank of England governor and now United Nations Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance.
The “5 days of Davos” covers absolutely every aspect of our lives and our futures. Always there in plain sight, for those who care to look.
I have sifted through the deluge of speeches and chosen what I believe to be the two most interesting guests of the event.
Klaus Schwab introduced the first guest of the event (given pride of place) – “His Excellency Xi Jinping the President of the People’s Republic of China”.
Xi went to considerable lengths to portray China as a rising but benevolent great power that only has humanity’s best interests at heart calling for macroeconomic coordination to jointly promote strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth of the world economy. To uphold the common values of humanity, peace, development, equity, justice, democracy, and freedom, to rise above ideological prejudice and jointly create a better future for humanity.
He refers to multilateralism no less than a dozen times. The World Health Organization he stated should be given “full play” to build a global community of health for all, and the World Trade Organization should be reformed.

Vladimir Putin warns of ‘dark anti-Utopia’ world
Addressing the World Economic Forum for the first time in 12 years, President Putin pointed at growing inequality and unemployment as potential triggers for new conflicts that he said could plunge the world into a “dark anti-Utopia”.
There is a real danger that we will face a downturn in global development fraught with an all-out fight, attempts to solve contradictions by searching for internal and foreign enemies, and the destruction of basic traditional values.
He added spiralling tensions have come to resemble the situation before World War II, warning that the world risks sliding deeper into instability as the coronavirus pandemic combines with global rivalries and other international tensions.
The pandemic has exacerbated the problems and disbalances that have been accumulating. International institutions are weakening, regional conflicts are multiplying and global security is degrading.
Globalisation led to a significant increase in the revenue of large multinational companies. But then again, in terms of corporate profits, who got hold of the revenue? The answer is clear: 1% of the population.
According to the IMF, the aggregate sovereign and private debt level has approached 200% of global GDP, and has even exceeded 300% of national GDP in some countries.
Modern technological giants, especially digital companies, have started playing an increasing role in the life of society. Much is being said about this now, especially regarding the events that took place during the election campaign in the US. They are not just some economic giants. In some areas, they are de facto competing with states.
How well does this monopolism correlate with the public interest? Where is the distinction between successful global businesses, sought-after services and big data consolidation on the one hand, and the efforts to rule society by substituting legitimate democratic institutions, by restricting the natural right for people to decide how to live and what view to express freely on the other hand? http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/transcripts/64938

Analysis
Anyone who believes this event is just a “little jolly” with no “political teeth” really ought to think again.
I will leave you with two scenarios to consider:-
Scenario 1
The UN/WEF’s pitch – (interestingly in perfect lockstep with Xi Jinping’s Chinese Communist Party!)
Reimagining our global economy so it becomes more sustainable and prosperous for all
Our global economic system is broken, but we can replace the current picture of global upheaval, unsustainability, and uncertainty with one of an economy that works for all people, and the planet.
We must eliminate rising income inequality within societies where productivity and wage growth has slowed. Second, we must reduce the dampening effect of monopoly market power wielded by large corporations on innovation and productivity gains. And finally, the short-sighted exploitation of natural resources that is corroding the environment and affecting the lives of many for the worse must end.
(I would just point out that the attendees of Davos ARE the monopoly power wielding large corporations corroding the environment are they going to dampen themselves).
Scenario 2
Given the evidence I have laid out and what we have witnessed during the pandemic do you believe that the Globalist Institutions have our best interests at heart – I will leave that for you to decide.
