Hopefully you managed to catch my three hour livestream marathon on YouTube where we went through the results as they came in. Dare I say that when scanning the results from last night the BBC have some excellent comprehensive analysis from the behind the scenes team, it really is a shame they are fronted by such duplicitous broadcasters!
There was some polls indicating The Brexit Party could win upwards of 35% but in the end won 31.6% of the vote which is still an incredible effort in such a short space of time. The Tories were as expected utterly decimated whilst Labour also fell back considerably. As I discussed on the Livestream last night both parties need to get off the fence if they want to survive with the Tories unequivocally backing a WTO Brexit whilst Labour have to oppose and support a second referendum.
