Over the last few months many people have been commenting on social media that they have seen a significant change in the editorial direction of both the Daily Express & The Daily Mail. So much so that well know Daily Mail writer and TV Presenter Andrew Pierce even retweeted someone who said they no longer bought the paper saying he was sorry to hear this admitting they were losing loyal readers:

The Daily Mail today reproducing all the same scare stories from Project Fear as above.

Whilst previously the paper was highly supportive of Jacob Rees Mogg they are now referring to anti- agreement MP’s as ‘Lemming Rebel’s’ and they are also liking Theresa May’s fate as to what happened with Margaret Thatcher!

Previously solid Brexit newspaper the Daily Express has come out fully behind the Prime Minister and saying boldly that the deal is the best for Britain! However just today they confirmed that a readers poll has shown that 86 of their readers are against the deal. So the question remains why on earth are these papers going against their readership.

Unity News will now explain why this is going on. Previously The Daily Mail was led by fearless Brexit supporting and unashamedly British Paul Dacre who made the Mail the giant on social media that it is today. The editor of the Daily Mail is now Geordie Greig who has all the hallmarks of an establishment plant to go against the Brexit process.

Greig was educated at Eton then Cambridge, aren’t they all, is the son of a Knight with other establishment family credentials. Edited the high society magazine Tatler and also took Hugh Gran’t side over wishing to see more censorship in place of the Press. Likewise the owner of the Daily Mail Group is Lord Rothermere, you may remember of course that the Rothermere family and Daily Mail were highly supportive of the Nazi Regime in the 1930’s so then and now support a pan-European vision of German dominance.

When push to comes to shove the main reason both the Mail and The Express are going down this route is financial. For many years it was considered that Paul Dacre took the Daily Mail too far and alienated the liberal elites of this country. So much so that at one point Virgin Trains, owned by Remainer Richard Branson actually banned the paper.

The Express has now been bought over by the hard left Mirror Group that of course has an extremely liberal pro-EU agenda and therefore those that work there have to tow the party line.

Print media in the UK is suffering badly and in many instances they rely on Government advertising contracts such as publishing jobs and public health announcements. Usually they pay significantly more at rate card of advertising than that of private business who seldom now advertise in newspapers. Joining the dots it is not too hard to see that two once proud Brexit supporting newspapers have been infiltrated by remainers and lent on by Government to pursue a far harsher line.

It is not for us to tell you where to get your news but hopefully now you will have been presented with the full facts of why these newspapers have gone in such a different direction.
