Over the last few days we have been treated to the howls of outrage from the usual figures, within the BBC and far left liberal rag The Guardian, with regards to comments made by Boris Johnson. We can now show you how within the space of just a few years these organisations have been totally corrupted. On a previous edition of Have I got News for you a picture of Prince Charles is shown next to a woman in a Burka and these are the responses:

Stephen Fry: “I just posted something in that.”

Ian Hislop: “We must stop meeting like this, Camilla.”

Paul Merton: “Prince Charles is surprised when a pint of Guinness looks at him in a funny way.”

Meanwhile Polly Toynbee who is never far from Mock outrage previously wrote:

Something horrible flits across the background in scenes from Afghanistan, scuttling out of sight. There it is, a brief blue or black flash, a grotesque Scream 1, 2 and 3 personified – a woman. The top-to-toe burka, with its sinister, airless little grille, is more than an instrument of persecution, it is a public tarring and feathering of female sexuality. It transforms any woman into an object of defilement too untouchably disgusting to be seen. It is a garment of lurid sexual suggestiveness: what rampant desire and desirability lurks and leers beneath its dark mysteries? In its objectifying of women, it turns them into cowering creatures demanding and expecting violence and victimisation. Forget cultural sensibilities.”

Meanwhile the Guardian also ran an article on the alternative uses of the Burka… as a ‘relaunched postbox’.

Unity News Opinion- 20 years ago Boris’s comments would hardly have caused people to bat an eyelid. Now the usual suspects are all in uproar but thankfully the majority of people agree with and support on this. It doesn’t matter whether what political party you are in and who you are in Britain, free speech is what our forefathers fought and died for. Boris is still to comment on this and we hope that he stays true to his principles and does not bow to pressure from the establishment.
